Forrest is a premier mountain biking destination, and the house is 1km to the southern trailhead and 3.8km from Boundary Road trailhead.
It’s a neat, cosy and functional house managed and maintained with care and attention. Reverse cycle heating/cooling and a cosy wood heater with wood supplied, and electric blankets on the beds.
A private backyard with outdoor fire pit and barbecue make it easy to eat outdoors. We’re walking distance to the Forrest Brewery, Forrest Guesthouse café and other conveniences.
Enjoy tennis courts and playground across the road, and the outdoor lockable shed has tennis racquets, balls, basketballs, footy, two bikes and two helmets.
Forrest is surrounded by the Great Otway National Park, with adventures close by such as waterfalls drive, Triplet Falls, Stevensons Falls, Hopetoun Falls and only 7km to beautiful Lake Elizabeth, with platypus, walking tails, picnic tables.
An easy 40-minute drive to Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road. And for those looking for more vigorous holiday activity, Planet Mud is nearby!
Getting there from Melbourne is an easy drive, less than two hours via Geelong.
